Fernco - 2B1 All-In-One Universal Coupling

 

The universal connector 2B ALL-IN-ONE connect any two pipes of the same nominal diameter regardless of the differences in outside diameter, providing it is within the products size range. While providing a reliable watertight seal to various pipe sizes the product will also provide resistance to vertical shear loads. The 2B ALL-IN-ONE performs the connections what would traditionally require a multitude of flexible couplings. Furthermore, the coupling outperforms many of the features of the Unicon and similar products.

• Improved profile ensures the rubber doesn’t collapse when installed to a pipe within its size range
• The reducing shearband made of a seawater-resistant aluminum alloy offers maximum protection against vertical shear loads
• High quality tension bands made from 1.4401 (W5, AISI316) stainless steel
• Corrosion resistant
• Reduces the need to carry excessive inventory
• Quick and easy to install – no special tools required
• Satisfies the requirements of EN295-4, EN681-1 & EN 16397-1

• Temperature range: -50º C to 150º C
• Tightening torque: 15 Nm / 17 Nm
• Jetting resistance: 120 bar

Incl. bush as a supplement to the 2B1 coupling for bridging larger diameter differences or falling below the minimum clamping range. On request also available in other sizes.
