The new and innovative force monitored clamp closing tool, Oetiker SMART, supports the easy and correct closure of Oetiker clamps in the Automotive Aftermarket. It is specially designed to indicate the correct closing force of common adjustable ear clamps. The tool has three different closing forces (1800, 2400 and 3800 N) that can be selected before use. With an integrated sensor, the tool indicates the force through LED lights and a vibration signal once the pre-selected force is reached.
Using Oetiker SMART ensures proper clamp closing and prevents over-clamping in critical driveshaft and other Aftermarket applications. This leads to faster and safer work management, as well as reliable connections.
