Oetiker Adjustable Ear Clamps type 109 - W1
The lock consists of two hooks that can withstand tensile loads during and after closing and a locking tab, designed to keep the hooks in their windows before closing. This locking design allows for hooking in different positions within the range of the clamp and a range of diameters can be covered by a single clamp.
The Oetker 1-ear Boot Clamp 109 are supplied preformed and attached on center diameter.
Each locking step of the interlock reduces the closure diameter by approximately 1.6mm.

General recommendations
The ears of these clamps are closed with the recommended uniform force (so-called force priority). This method results in a constant, reproducible stress within the clamp material, without overloading either the clamp or the parts assembled. The nominal diameter of the clamp must always be chosen that, when installed with the correct clamping force, the ears are nearly closed.
