Fernco - Saddle Typ STORM-T
The Fernco Storm-T is a saddle piece that is primarily designed for the lateral connection of all types of DN 150 pipes with ribbed, double-walled and smooth-walled plastic main pipes.
With the proven seal design, the fastest and most universal connecting element to date has been developed. The innovative solution reduces installation and time costs to a minimum.
Universal
The special properties of the Storm-T ensure a safe connection to various types of plastic pipes. These features include a depth adjustment mechanism that allows the Storm-T to be easily secured in the optimal position during installation. This means that it achieves maximum performance over a wide range of pipe thicknesses. The Storm-T also has a positive fit on the main pipe, which minimizes disruptions and blockages in the flow. The seal on the inside of the side pipe ensures that any DN150 side pipe can be connected.
Connecting elements offer the same solution as pipe branches, e.g. when side pipes from new industrial installations, street drains, residential buildings, etc. need to be connected to the existing pipe network. The result of the two methods is similar, but there are obvious differences in the installation methods. For example, with the Storm-T you do not have to dig out the entire pipe, but only expose the part where the connection must be made.
