Murray Worm Drive Hose Clamp | Type F | Various steel types

The Worm screw Hose clamp Type F from Murray is a widely applicable, universal clamp. We offer this clamp in different steel qualities. The Band width is 12.7 mm (0.500”) with the exception of the HMSS series (9/16”)

These Steel qualities are:

H Series – With Zinc Plated Carbon Steel Screw

Band and housing are 200/300 series stainless steel. Screw is 5/16” slotted hex head, heat treated carbon steel, double plated with zinc plus trivalent chromate for long lasting protection. Good general-purpose clamp.

HSS Series – With “400” Series Steel Screw Clamps

Band and housing are 200/300 series stainless steel. Screw is 5/16” slotted hex head, heat treated 400 series stainless steel. The high corrosion resistance of this all stainless steel band, housing and screw makes this the perfect clamp for numerous industrial installations.

HFSS Series – All “300” Series Stainless Steel Clamps

Band, housing and screw are 300 series stainless steel. Screw is 5/16” slotted hex head. The all-300 series stainless steel construction provides better corrosion resistance than that available from the “H-SS” Series, making this worm drive clamp well suited for marine applications.

HGSS Series – All 304 Stainless Steel Clamps

Band, housing and screw are made in 304 stainless steel, making this suitable for harsh environments and marine applications.

HLSS Series – All 316 Stainless Steel Clamps

Band, housing and screw are made in 316 stainless steel. This construction yields excellent performance in highly corrosive environments. Applications include plumbing, water well, municipal storm drains, irrigation, marine, transportation and petrochemical.

HMSS Series – All Stainless Steel Clamps with 9/16″ Wide Band

Band and housing are made with 200 series stainless steel, 5/16″ slotted hex head screw is 400 series stainless steel. Other material combinations available.
